RZ350 EXPANSION CHAMBERS

Spec II's expansion chambers were first conceived in 1974. Through the years, they have done duty on Championship-winning RDs and street-going Cafe RDs. All the while, they have been benefiting from a steady program of refinement.

Ground clearance is an important consideration at Spec II. Our expansion chambers are not inline stampings. This allows us to offer the most ground clearance for the achievement of high cornering speeds.

Aluminum silencers are not all the same. Spec II's silencers are a snap to maintain. They feature an internal snap ring for baffle removal. The all bolt construction offers easy replacement in case of damage. Finally, our pipes produce a restrained yet exciting sound.

Our RZ350 street pipes bring about a 16 lb. weight loss, a wide powerband from 6,500 RPM to 10,500 RPM and an over 20% power increase - which all result in a truly awesome motorcycle -, whereas our hand-built race RZ350 chambers feature full power to 11,500 RPM with a super wide powerband. RZ350 MIKUNI CARBURATORS

Wake up your RZ350 to its full potential with Spec II's 30mm Mikuni Carburators. Horspower increases of 13% with an hour installation time are common place with our 30 mm Carburator Kits.

Spec II's 30mm Carburator Kits come complete with cables, airfilters, and all necessary hardware. The Carburators even come equipped with a vacuum line to actuate the gas petcock and are drilled for oil injection.

Spec II offers 34mm Carburator Kits for all-out racing or for RZs quipped with Spec II's Big Bore Kit. These carburators have all the features of Spec II's 30mm Mikunis but offer more top-end at the sacrifice of low-end horsepower. We also offer an even more extreme 35.2mm kit.

RZ350 REARSET FOOT CONTROLS

Your RZ350's ground clearance will be fully exploited upon installation of Spec II's rearset foot controls. They pull your feet up and back to eliminate foot dragging. Feature spherical rod bearings at all pivot points.

RZ350 HIGH-COMPRESSION HEAD MODIFICATION

Your RZ350 will benefit from more compression once cylinder head is milled, ridding the engine of unnecessary squish clearance. Not only will the bottom end power be improved, but the peak power goes up also. Must send your cylinder head.

We use this reed cage whenever we can. It increases peak horsepower dramatically. Add the new power pod, and you've got serious imporvements in your bottom-end and mid-range power as well. It bolts straight in the RZ350.

MACHINING & SERVICES

Spec II's forte resides, among other things, in boosting your RZ350's power through porting. We offer many stages of porting, and we can also perform various maintenance tasks to your crankshaft. Cylinder boring is also offered, as is a Big Bore kit. We can even clean your Power Valve assembly! (Head milling is covered farther up on this page.)
